With over 35 years of experience in the human services solutions field, SMI knows what works for our government partners and what we can provide to them to make these relationships long-lasting. Our company is in it’s second generation of family ownership and the founder of SMI, Bob Stone, has passed his “Going the Extra Mile” philosophy and mission statement on to his sons. Employees at SMI are expected to follow this commitment to service and do so by building solid relationships with our state partners, fellow employees and vendors, as well as others within our business and local community. SMI is a socially responsible company and actively participates in the community through corporate sponsorships, support and contributions to various civic organizations, charities, disaster aid and projects.
