Bob stone - Founder & board chairman. Bob founded SMI in 1971 and led the company to the forefront of technological services to governmental agencies. Bob led the company as CEO for over 30 years before passing the torch to the second generation of family ownership and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMI. Bob actively participates in the growth and direction of the organization, mentoring the second generation with his entrepreneurial spirit.

Bob serves on the Boards of Directors of many companies and is active in several civic organizations. He has received many awards of recognition for his contributions to his work and community.
